Chicken Pox

There has been a confirmed case of chicken pox at BHS. Chicken pox is a very contagious disease caused by a virus. All students at BHS should have had two varicella vaccines . If the varicella vaccine is given with 72 hours of exposure to chicken pox, it may prevent or reduce the severity of the disease. If your child is susceptible or you are unsure, please call your childs health provider to discuss vaccination. Please review the attached letter for more information regarding chicken pox.
